We travel along the same broken path
Wondering aimlessly into oblivion
Being chased by starving wolves
Cringing when their breath feels
Ever so close to our backs
Run fast and don't look behind
They'll take you down with ease
Biting down on your pride
They chew away your insides

They will kill you just because they can
Howling and growling as they fight for your remains
No one can run from the demon beasts of the field

Don't stray from the herd or they'll take you first
The side vision of them picking out the diseased
The fear makes you tremble in your sleep
You hide within the group hoping to be avoided
But as they take off, you're left behind
Next on their menu will probably be you
With few in number they are efficient
