Smile

Do you ever wonder why the sun stays yellow
Why the grass is always green
Why the sloth smiles so mellow
Why everyone is so mean
Don’t you ever stare at the sun setting
And dream of what the future may hold
Or think about maybe letting
Someone say a story never told
I figure someday may be a while
I figure someday I may even smile

Freak

What a shy and awkward fellow
The one who holds his smile so mellow
Holding his head way down low
As he walks the halls so slow
Cautiously answering questions
No one dares to ask him
Covering his head to avoid recognition
Being bullied by his peers
For the sake of blending in
He surely misses this objective
Growing his hair long as a curtain
He is just another hermit
Dodging direct contact
He shuffles from one point to the next
Who he is no one knows
He's just a freak, you know

Firestarter

Strange things have been happening to me
Ugly thoughts and deadly connotations
Birthed from the anger in my heart
The distrust and broken promises
Have kindled an inferno so strong
Devouring anything consumable
Taking everyone down one by one
My eyes are wandering
All the time seeking a new victim
Sparks fly from my stare
Fires starting when I’m around
She drove me to this point
No one else is of fault
Especially me

Misshapen Chaos

What is today but only the prelude to tomorrow
Happiness is a preview of foredooming sorrow
Beating the dead horse to draw the gnats
Feasting on your pity to breed the new generation
You will forget everything in seconds
To make room for future mistakes
Devouring time like the mouth of a lion
Feeding on the corpse of his newest kill
Blood dripping down his chin to a pool at his feet
Dear woman, with your words so deadly
Fiery darts do fly from your tongue
And they are all directed at me
For all the torment of eternity
